ADVENTURES IN MIDDLE EARTH

It's 2005 and GW now had the licence to make stuff from the Hobbit books. Instead of doing it for their LotR SBG game which was big at the time, they decided to put a Hobbit skin on their Warmaster 10mm game. They would later included some bits and pieces in to SBG and then when the movies came out sort of went full in but not really.

It was released as a single box that did contain everything you needed to play the game, including some lovely terrain. There was extra models that could be bought to expand the game.

The game lasted for only a few months before GW lost interest and put it out to pasture.
